sunlight struggled through the arched bridges into the kitchen
still warm from fresh baked pizelles and amaretto flavored coffee
caring hands caressed the covering from the clove
aroma swirled in the air enticing mouths to water
early in the morning
sneaking the wooden spoon to stir the pot
to taste the treasure made with Love
in a Tuscan kitchen
